CRS PTA Staff Appreciation Events – 2010-2011
The PTA Staff Appreciation Committee has been hard at work planning activities to honor the fantastic staff here at CRS:
New this year, each grade level will have the opportunity to host one of seven (7) “Staff Snacks”. As each snack approaches, a coordinator will contact that particular grade level and ask for volunteers to bake homemade treats. Please consider helping out as the teachers & staff really appreciate the efforts that CRS parents put into these kinds of events.
October 28, 2010 – 3rd grade hosts: “Cider & Muffins”
December 9, 2010 – 6th grade hosts: “Hot Chocolate & Cookies”
February 10, 2011 – 2nd grade hosts: “Chocolate Lovers”
March 17, 2011 – 5th grade hosts: “St. Patrick’s Day Savory Treats”
April 14, 2011 – 1st grade hosts: “Appetizers in April”
May 5, 2011 – Kindergarten hosts: “Cinco de Mayo”
June 9, 2011 – 4th grade hosts: “Cupcakes & Coffee”
The PTA Staff Appreciation Committee will also host four (4) meals:
August 31, 2010 – Back to School lunch
November 10, 2010 – Fall breakfast
February 23, 2011 – Winter lunch – “Chinese New Year”
May 4, 2011 – Staff Appreciation Week lunch – “Italian Feast”
Finally, in honor of Staff Appreciation Week (May 2 – 6, 2011), we will sponsor the annual “CRS Staff Appreciation Card Day” on May 3, as well as the May luncheon and “Staff Snack” mentioned above.
