The Nominating Committee is a group of dedicated PTA members charged with filling the slate of PTA officers and committee chair positions for the 2010-2011 school year. It is important to recruit individuals to get involved in the PTA to keep our volunteers varied, our minds innovative and to broaden the experience base within our community. Please take a moment to reflect upon your experiences and consider how you would like to contribute to next year's PTA.

Choose "Nominations" from the drop-down menu under PTA. You may also contact the members of the Nominating Committee directly. Many thanks to the following members that are serving in this capacity!
Nominating committee organization and responsibilities:
- There shall be a nominating committee composed of an uneven number (not less than three (3) members), one of whom shall be elected by the Board from its body, with the remaining members to be elected by this PTA at a general membership meeting at least two (2) months prior to the election of officers. The committee shall elect its own chairman.
- The nominating committee shall nominate an eligible person for each office to be filled and report its nominees at a regular meeting no less than thirty (30) days prior to the election meeting. At the election meeting, additional nominations may be made from the floor.
- Only those persons who have signified their consent to serve if elected shall be nominated for or elected to such office.
- The nominating committee shall recommend to the Executive Committee the names of persons to serve as chairpersons of such standing committees as are designated by the Executive Committee.
